The night is still young in Clarke Quay

Here is a photo of my memories in Singapore 2007.

This place is called "Clarke Quay", a modern style night spot where a lot of restaurants are serving delicious dishes such as Thai foods, Chinese things, and western style things.

I went to one Thai restaurant. I am a big fan of green curry and yes, I ate it there. In Japan, a towel or wet tissue is served for free, but I found that it is not there. The wet tissue they served has nice smell...

It gets dark very quickly after taking this photo.

Coming back from Singapore

Yesterday I came back from Singapore. It was only 4 days to stay there.
Just meet friends there, and visited my brother's house.

People in Singapore can understand English information directly, and they
can get them at a real time with understanding some subtle nuance. At the
same time, most of them can understand Chinese information as well.

What about Japanese? I know some are very good at both languages but
to raise up public opinions, Japanese circumstance seems isolated from
other countries opinions... that's what I have felt.

Now in Singapore

I have been staying here for three days already. I am staying
the hotel along the river. The scene turns more sophisticated
a little, and the owner of the hotel where I stay is changed to
the global brand from a Japanese hotel chains. They remain
some interiers so I can feel some Japanese taste.

I can meet many different ethnics here and I find people are
much calm except the drivers. The greens are very 'green' and
I have noticed that they heal my stress.

I have tried to have a journalistic point of view, but I just let
myself go freely... I mean, I have not planned at all. I think it
is also a nice way to enjoy a journey.

The Lounge...

I am now at the Lounge of the airline company, the Narita International
Airport. I feel relaxed now... it is very quiet and so huge. I am not sure
but it is still early in the morning, I cannot find many people here even
though I saw so many people outside of this place.

I know that the foods are free here, and as you know, I have to admit my
nature... try to get many foods as much as possible! It is an absurd idea,
and I begin to feel my way of thinking doesn't meet my age. I should be
mature enough. But I am hungry now so I will get some after posting this.

Staying this comfortable place, I start thinking of the Japanese.
Isolated from the global community... I am not sure this is true but I can
feel it. They are proud of themselves but rare to express their own
opinions in a correct/right way in English.

During this trip, I will think this point.
